EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES
Catholic Schools Week: A celebration of Catholic schools. Volunteers
assist with activities and events as needed.
Everybody Counts: Students are introduced to various physical and mental challenges people face. Volunteers give presentations (notes provided), help coordinate presentations/materials, and decorate the school. Families are asked to send in baked goods and/or work at a lunchtime bake sale. (Chairperson: Lori Dorn)
Recess Duty: Volunteers help monitor recess for students in grades K-4. Adults can volunteer once a month, every day, or somewhere in between. Our teachers and students really benefit from the extra sets of “eyes.” (Recess Coordinator: Jean Snyder)
Room Parents: Working singly or in homeroom teams, room parents assist teachers with classroom parties, Christmas, Teacher Appreciation Week, Teacher Training Breakfast/Lunch coverage, etc.
(Chairperson: Victoria Biehle)
Teacher Appreciation Week: Volunteers assemble gifts, donate, and/or deliver breakfast items to teachers in classrooms, and help coordinate various events during this week in May. (Chairperson: Julie Biernat)
Uniform Sale: Help organize, set up, and sell gently used uniform clothing during several scheduled events, such as Parish Picnic and Spring Carnival. (Chairperson: Karen Bowman)
