Parish Lenten Service Project

Parish Lenten Service Project

Again this year, St Veronica Stewardship Commission will be assembling 400 Easter bags for the children and families of Hope Emergency Services in Brown County.

You can help by taking a paper Easter ‘egg” asking for either a bag of individually wrapped Easter Candy or a $5.00 cash donation. We will be passing these “eggs” out on the weekends of March 3rd and 4th and 10th and 11th.. There will be bins in the narthex for the return of the candy after masses on the weekends of March 10th and 11th and 17th and 18th.. The monetary donations can be put in the collection basket. Donations can also be dropped off at the Parish Ministry Center during normal business hours. We ask all donations to be returned by Monday, March 19th.

The monies collected will cover the cost of the stickers, crayons, activity books, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. which will be included in the bags, along with the candy.

The filling of the treat bags will be done in conjunction with the Parish Soup Supper held on Wednesday, March 21st. All are welcome to attend and participate.

Thank you all again for your support of this Lenten Service Project.
