CLEAN WATER MISSION:
Each year at VBS, our kids join forces with Catholic Relief Services to assist
impoverished and disadvantaged people overseas. This year we are raising money to increase access to clean water for children and families around the world. The kids will learn that many kids, just like them don't have access to clean water or proper bathrooms. Over 700,000 children die from diarrhea each year because they don't know about why or how to wash their hands to prevent the spread of diseases. This is hard for our kids to grasp, as it is so foreign to their experience. Donations collected at VBS will go towards digging wells in villages and communities in need, and educating families and school kids about hygiene. We encourage kids to do extra chores to earn money to bring in or to clean out their piggy banks. Any support you can give this important project is appreciated! Bring your cash or check donation to VBS between 9 and Noon or drop off at the parish office by Friday.

We are happy to announce that Fr. David Doseck has been assigned to the pastoral region of St. John Fisher & St. Veronica parishes, beginning July 1. Fr. Doseck was ordained on May 20, 2017. In July he will serve with Fr. Steve Walter and Fr. Pat Crone in both of our parishes.

Fr. Del will return from his sabbatical the first week of August, when Fr. David, Fr. Pat and Fr. Del will all serve our pastoral region. We welcome Fr. David as he begins his priestly ministry in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
